La Jolla Shores

Photo taken in San Diego over spring break. My friend I was staying with lived right up the road from here. (lucky her..) Anyway this is La Jolla Shores. I swear this night came straight from a movie. Before it got dark, there were a lot of surfers out in the water and as the sun was setting, a lot of them were sitting along the shoreline, or up on the rocks, or even up standing near the street, boards in hand, watching the sun go down. The only beaches I've really been to have been in Jamaica, and I'd never been to a place where surfing was really big (since I was 2 and don't remember).
